Ideal for new systems or for upgrading existing ones, the SMA EV Charger is flexible and compatible with all commercially available electric vehicles, thanks to the type 2 charging cable with a fixed connection. The SMA Sunny Home Manager 2.0 energy management system allows for charging electric vehicles with a priority on solar energy and particularly fast. Instructions are sent to the device using a simple rotary selector on the device or the SMA Energy App. The boost function allows for charging at almost twice the speed of conventional charging stations. Even the lowest power outputs generated by the solar system can be fully utilized thanks to the automatic switching from single-phase to three-phase charging mode. The intelligent system always takes into account all connected consumers and prevents overloading of the domestic system.
