Description
Van der Valk | BirdBlocker 125
Do you want to prevent birds from building nests under solar panels? This powerful product is easy to install on almost all our basic profile PV panels and ensures that birds will build their nests elsewhere.
Panel performance is reduced when branches and nesting material prevent natural ventilation underneath. . The hotter the panels get, the lower the efficiency. The risk of fire has also increased. There may also be noise pollution from birds between the roof and the solar panels. Buried branches can scratch the bottom plate of the panel, which can lead to leaks in the ground.
Once the BirdBlocker has been installed, there is a 99% certainty that no birds will come under the PV panels. The strips are easy to attach to the framed PV panels thanks to the specially designed stainless steel brackets. Unfortunately, screwing or gluing to the frame is not allowed as this may affect the warranty of your panels.
The BirdBlocker system works best when placed flush with the panels.
